The CST130/2T “spinner” Thermal Shock Test Chamber is made up of two test chambers: a hot chamber in the upper part and a cold chamber in the lower part.
The “basket” in which the products to be tested are placed is moved electrically from one compartment to the other by a motorized worm drive system; this mechanism ensures a high transfer speed and significantly reduced vibrations while the specimen is being moved from one chamber to the other. During the transfer the specimen is subjected to a thermal shock according to the thermal profile temperatures that have been set.

- Eco-friendly low-consumption chamber:
- New refrigerant gas that guarantees a low global warming potential (GWP) in compliance with the new European Regulation 517/2014 on Ecological Refrigerant Gases.
- The gas chosen by ACS is the R449A gas, which has a lower environmental impact than other refrigerant gases when used in the high stage of cascade refrigeration systems.
- Optimized refrigeration system and innovative “Smart Cooling Kit” Technology, which help to reduce consumption by 10%- 20% compared to other machines of the same size.

- Access to all the information regarding the cycle in progress, with display of the segments performed/to be performed;
- Display of all the meters regarding the status of the chamber and its main components.
