Technical data
Furnace housing
The furnace housing consists of a stainless steel pressure vessel for pressures up 200 bar and is placed on an underframe made of C-steel profiles. The pressure vessel is externally water cooled. The furnace and safety relevant components are TÜV certified and approved. The furnace is characterized by an operating friendly design.
Insulation
The internal insulation exclusively consists of energy saving fibre material. Mainly Aluminium oxide PCW boards are used except 2200 °C versions where graphite insulation is used. Thin-walled, low heat storing materials enable extremely short heating up and cooling down cycles. Access for maintenance is from the backside of the pressure vessel.
Heating
The furnace is heated with MoSi2– or Graphite heating elements. They are fitted on the top side of outer insulation layer and are switched in one zone. The heating elements are operated with transformers and electronic load relays/thyristor controller.
Switch and control unit
The switch and control unit with power part is installed in the underframe which carries the pressure vessel with the furnace.
